About me

I have been making games since I was a kid, beginning with Texas Instruments calculators when I was in school, and QBasic when I got my first computer a few years later. After studying Computer Science in college I landed my first job in the industry, as a programmer at Electronic Arts, where I worked on a variety of games such as "Command & Conquer", "Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth", "Medal of Honor", and "Battlefield". I then spent 4+ years at Bungie where I was Lead Sandbox Engineer and managed a small team of developers working on gameplay features for "Destiny" and "Destiny 2". I am now happy to be back in California, where I am currently Gameplay Engineering Director at FuzzyBot.

I'm also an avid gamer, and I've been inspired by a wide variety of games over the years: NES games, dial-up BBS games, board games, card games. I've been very happy to see the rise of both quality and quantity of indie games in recent years, and I hope to one day make one of my own.

In my free time, in addition to coding and gaming, I like to write music, and spend time with my young family.
